The Animal Cafe

We are so familiar with pets cafe with dogs and cats but this time, we are going to include one special cafe in Bangkok which is The Animal Cafe. This cafe has more than just cats and dogs.  There are cherry shrimps, colourful tiny crabs, Argentine horned frogs and also a salamander. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, there are full costumes you can put on to feel like a true Gryffindor in the owl room too. The Animal Café offers you a respectable range of F&B but perhaps the animals are the bigger attraction here.

Putting the issue of raising wild creatures in the city aside, the venue is a nice place to eat, relax and have fun with exotic creatures. Those who want to touch exotic animals or selfies with animals or couples looking for a cute time together may want to give this place a try.

The entry fee is THB200 per person (THB100 for child) which once purchased is used to buy food and drink inside.

Cat Up Cafe

Located in Silom just near the street level entrance to the BTS Saladaeng station. This coffee shop is the first of its kind in the Silom area.  In fact, it joins a dozen other city coffee houses where cats tend to compete with guests for attention, and sometimes for food. Cat Up Cafe will entertain you with the presence of cats which can act as an anti-stress element especially when they purr with happiness.

No entrance fee needed to enter this cafe as you can just enter and make an order as usual. They also provide catering, take away and not only good for pet lovers but also good for groups, parties and also children. Little surprise that the slogan of Cat Up Café in Silom reads: “What you need is cat and coffee!”
